Great vocalist, Segun Obe is repackaging. If you are wandering what it is, he is taking a break from music to exhibit other talents of his. Even though he has recorded some songs off his forth-coming album, there are no plans of releasing them now. Segun has started a programme on TV called ‘Chilling Out With Segun Obe’. It’s currently airing on a particular Television station in Lagos every Thursday. One of the basic concepts of the programme is to interview musicians like him from the artiste’s perspective to reveal the challenges they faced in their career and the stress it takes to bring out an album.
Speaking with Rhythm & Sounds few days back, he revealed that the programme is about to get bigger. “We just got the support of Chivita. They are interested in the programme. I would soon start voice training too for some budding talents in Nigeria . I will be traveling to America soon to shoot some videos and also record some episodes of my programme with some foreign acts. I’m doing lots of things at the moment”, he said.
