Seyi Sodim To Realese New Album




  • Afro-soul singer, Seyi Sodimu, of the ‘Love Me Jeje’ fame is back in the country to release his fourth album. He revealed to Glitz Stage few days back.
    Having left the scene for a long time, Seyi is now ready to take his act to the next level.
    The new album has promotional tracks like Gbedu, Set Me Free, Boys Will Be Boys and Sophisticated Woman featuring Wayne Wonder. He shot the video for the track ‘Boys Will Be Boys’ few days back. It was directed by Clarence Peters.
    Seyi released his first album in 1997; with a follow up in 2002 and a third was released in the year 2005. Now, he is working hard on his fourth album which is yet to be affixed a date.
    He is also nursing the plan of relocating his record label to Nigeria and assist in promoting some younger artistes. This will serve as his contribution to the music industry
    Seyi’s style of music takes traditional African rhythms of Juju, Highlife and Afro-beat, with a fusion of modern sound of Jazz, R&B and Hip-hop, which he refereed to as "a unique blend Afro Soul. His music celebrates life, love, truth and the spirituality of a higher being. Aside from music, Seyi has diversified into other businesses which include a clothing line, oil and hotel business.
