Self acclaimed Egberi Papa One of Bayelsa, Timaya, seem to have understood more the importance of artiste management and packaging. Some time last year, he gave his manager, Daniel Lloyds, a Honda Accord Baby Boy car which actually was his first. As you read this write-up, Timaya, in a couple of days will be presenting him with another car that will be unveiled in this Blog later. Timaya took Glitz Stage where the car was parked few days back and it was really a sight to behold.
The car is currently parked at the garage in Timaya’s Marwa Gardens’ residence in Ikeja. The vehicle came in a blue colour a-waiting delivery to its new owner. According to the artiste, he is given out the car to his manager to further enhance the way he appears before their business partners during deliberations. “You know how the game is now. In this industry, you require constant packaging to remain on top always. I feel it is time to drop that Honda Accord for something more exotic”, Timaya said.
Mean while, the artiste who just released his sophomore album few months back is currently working on other songs. He finished work on a new single recently and it features rave making rap sensation, MI. Although at the time of filling this report, MI was yet to drop his verse.
He also revealed to Glitz Stage that the next album from his stable, Dem Mama Records, would be collaboration with his protégés’ Dem Mama Soldier’s.
However, the VCD of his current album will be released in a couple of months.
